What Do You Vision For Your Birth?

"If a doula were a drug, it would be unethical not to use it." -- John H. Kennell, MD

I understand that everyone has their own expectations regarding birth – My aim is to help families make informed decisions about what they want and to support these goals. I am committed to helping create a safe, non-judgmental, and empowering environment for women to give birth, whether at home or in a hospital/birth center.

My goal is to help mothers and their partners during this transcendent moment in their lives.  Giving them the support, guidance and care necessary to have the birth experience they are wishing for - however that may look.  With a big heart, I bring focus, respect, and a sense of humor to every birth I attend.
Women have been caring for women during their birth for centuries…  I look forward to carrying on this special tradition and celebrating the miracle of life!

This photo was taken during my first pregnancy, about 30 minutes before my contractions started!

I do not recommend my clients to do headstands anytime during their pregnancy (unless they have an advanced yoga practice, and enjoy)!

This is just a reminder that if you are having a healthy pregnancy, you are strong, and capable to handle anything! Moving and changing positions are great for optimal fetal positioning, and keeping active during your pregnancy will help you during your labor.
